Allures

The Allures met and formed in 1983 at one of the many United In Group Harmony Association (U.G.H.A.) Shows in North Bergen, New Jersey. After a few months of rehearsals, the group began performing in the tri-state area and recording in the studio. The Allures released six 45's, appeared on three Cable TV Shows, made guest appearances on four radio shows, (including Don K. Reed's Doo-Wop Shop WCBS-FM 101.1) and performed in countless concerts, clubs, parties and benefits in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Allures became an all-time favorite of the Doo-Wop circuit. Favorites among these 12 songs are "Gloria," "Why Won't You Believe Me," "Chapel of Dreams," "I Believe," "The Shrine of St. Cecilia," "Magic Moon" and "Last Night I Dreamed."
